AfroBite is a bold food and beverage brand inspired by African culture, flavors, and community. The concept was to create an identity that not only celebrates taste but also pays homage to Africa’s vibrant heritage. The goal was to make the brand modern, relatable, and premium while staying rooted in authenticity.

The Challenge

Most African-inspired food brands lean heavily into clichés or look dated, which makes it difficult to resonate with a younger, urban audience. The challenge was to craft a brand identity that felt contemporary, aspirational, and proudly African.

The Solution

I developed a strong logo system where the African mask was stylized into the “I” in BITE. The typography combined bold, geometric forms with clean, modern styling to balance tradition and minimalism. The color palette was led by vibrant orange on a dark backdrop, creating contrast and an energetic, appetizing feel.
